The administation staff by the Lofotr Viking Museum have their offices in the old parsonage building, nearby the museum. The administration is manned on weekdays 0800 - 1530. 

The old parsonage consists of several houses, most of them now offices and workshops. In the barn/cow stable, the farm animals of the museum is living during winter. The barn was built in the 1920s, the residence in 1930 and the managers office building at the end of 1800s. There is a historical garden by the administration houses/parsonage, where you are welcome to have a look. 

Museum Nord - 13 museums, 1000 stories
Lofotr Viking Museum is a part of the company Museum North. Museum North administrates most museums in the region of Lofoten islands, Vesterålen islands and the Ofoten region (around Narvik and Tysfjord). Pr 2012, Museum Nord consists of 13 different museums, each of them sharing important and interesting parts of the regions history.
