Kjell Braathen is a man with a great passion for music history. For more than 20 years he has been practising as a musician, and he also has a grade in sound engineering.

His interest in early music in Northern Europe has led to a series of lectures for children, and the last years he has visited a wide range of schools and kindergardens with great success. Since musical instruments from this period is very hard to come by, he finds that he might as well make them himself!

During the festival he's also presenting some of these instruments for sale.

Kjell is an engaged lecturer, and always receives the childrens full attention. The lectures is given in Norwegian, but feel free to ask him questions after the session.
