How to get here Centrally located in Lofoten, on the green and fertile island Vestvågøy in the middle of Lofoten. Airport and Hurtigruten piers close by. The main road E 10 runs just a few meters from the museum. >
The Museum Shop We have products from Lofoten and replica from the vikingage. We have products that are made by local artists and handcrafters. >
Food & drinks Exploring the life of the vikings makes you hungry! During summer the museum has several places where you can buy food and drinks. Wether you are in the mood for a cup of coffee, some sweets or a full meal, we are happy to serve you. >
Skaftnes farm and Fygle museum After visiting the viking museum how about making a travel closer to our own time? At Skaftnes Farm, a beautifully located small farm, you will meet with the history of the fisher and farmer. At Fygle museum, a complete and old class room is waiting for you. >
