What happens in February 2019
In February, the museum is open 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday 1200-1600), - and every night for guests who have registered for the Viking Feast. It's the Children's Viking Saturday or Viking gatherings on the weekends, and on weekdays you can get acquainted with our skilled guides and craftsmen in the Chieftain's House.

Visit outside opening hours can be booked in advance (groups).
Archeological exhibition, film and the Chieftain's House are open.
Bring your smartphone to listen to the stories about the findings that are displayed.
Viking Feast every evening for individual guests (prebooked) at 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
The Museum Gift Shop is open during museum opening hours.
On the following days we have extra activities:
Saturday, February 2: Visit by local Viking reenactment group, "Lofoten Vikinglag".
Saturday, February 9: Children's Viking Saturday - "Rune journey through the longhouse" and Visit by local Viking reenactment group, "Vargfot Vikinglag".
Saturday, February 16: Children's Viking Saturday - We play hnefatafl boardgame together
Saturday, February 23: Children's Viking Saturday - Make your own rune amulet
