Whittle, sew, paste, draw and bake? Many activities await those who want to take part in the Viking Christmas workshop. The Vikings are waiting for you, at various workstations, all over the museum.
Imagine stick bread roasted over an open fire and Christmas decorations created from fragrant juniper. Dress up as Vikings and take nice photos in our photo corner. There is a lot of nice things that can be created at our various stations. We believe many lucky parents, siblings and grandparents have received wonderful gifts from children who have made nice things at the Christmas workshop.
Admission to the museum is free on this day. Enter via the ticket office and get your free ticket. At the ticket counter you will be handed a bag where you can collect all the nice things you make. The day is very popular, so book your spot in advance, tickets will be posted on the https://ticket.lofotr.no/
In the museum shop you can make Christmas bargains! there is SALE on many great merchandise.
The museum café sells hot and cold drinks as well as something to eat.
SUPER SALE: The very popular annual passes are sold at a very reasonable price to local residents on this particular day.
