Children's Saturdays with the Vikings - February Program 2020
On Saturdays during winter we often have extra activities for the children that are visiting our museum. Small workshops, archaeology for children, guiding for children and other activities.
February Program for Children's Viking Saturday
We have extra activities for children on many Saturdays during fall, winter and spring at Lofotr Vikingmusuem in Lofoten.
The activities are included in the ticket prices.
On the following days the Vikings are doing something extra for the children:
Saturday, February 8: Viking Braids for Children
Have your hair braided in Viking style by one of our Vikings, or get Viking-inspired facepaint.
Saturday, February 15: Leather Bracelet
The children can make their own bracelet from leather.
Saturday, February 22: Rune Amulet
The children can decorate a wooden rune amulet they can bring home afterward.
Saturday, February 29: Rune Journey Through the Longhouse
A Viking will guide the children through the longhouse while they solve a puzzle with runes.
