Cultural award 2020

The award shall inspire artistic and cultural activity in the municipality, as well as serve as a recognition and acknowledgment to the winner. The award is given to a person or organization that in a particular way has drawn attention to their work, or in any other way has done outstanding work for the cultural sector within the municipality.

From the mayors speech: The museum is recognized for their work with dissiminating our heritage through the Viking age history. This is done in an authentic style that engages the audience through participation in activities.
