Evening events: The Dubhlinn Moorings (Wednesday, August 7th)
The Celtic band celebrate the Irish connection to the Vikings.
Join us for a special concert with the Celtic band "The Dubhlinn Moorings" in the festival area forest. The band celebrates the connection between the Irish and the Vikings as the Vikings were settling in Ireland ca 1200 years ago.
It will be an intimate setting, with a small crowd around the fire in the festival area forest. Traditional instruments, such as flutes, accordions, Bodhran drums will accompany the vocals.
The Celtic band The Dubhlinn Moorings album "Thomas Moore Reimagined" made it to nr 1 at the Irish I-tune-list.
When: Wednesday, August 7, 21:00 evening
Where: In the festival forest. Park by the church, walk towards the cemetery, follow the gravel road in the forest
Price: adults NOK 100. Tickets sold at the concert arena.
Refreshments are sold.
Dress accordingly to the weather, outdoor event.
