Oct 17th: Mead and beer in the Viking age
What is mead? Did the Vikings drink beer? How was mead made? Join us on the event and learn more about the Vikings traditions and drinks.
Lofotr Vikingmuseum is in cooperation with Lofotpils brewing our own beer. The beer is pr October for sale exclusively in the museum gift shop. On this event we will present the Lofotr beer and talk more about the brewing of beer, meed and drinks in the Viking age.
The event is conducted in Norwegian language. Find more information on the arrangement.
When: Saturday October 17th 2 pm
Where: Meet at the entrance area of the museum. Event happens in film room and longhouse.
Suitable for: age 18 and older.
Duration: 1-2 hours

Price: NOK 195. Price includes 4 samples beer and mead. NB. This does not apply to persons below the age of 18. Har du årskort: NOK 25. Museum is open 1200 - 1600.
