Opening Hours Winter 2019
In the period Feb 1 - April 30, the museum is open daytime 6 days per week. In addition, you can take part in a Viking feast every evening!
The archaeological exhibition halls and the reconstructed Viking Chieftain`s longhouse is open Monday - Saturday 1200 - 1600. Click here for a complete overview of the opening hours.
The museum may open outside of regular opening hours, on request (minimum fee applies).Every evening, the museum is open for guests attending the Viking feast. The feasts start with a tour of the museum, before enjoying the meal. Want to participate? Book no later than 1200 same day.
In the period October - mid-May, the Viking ship is not available. Paths to the Viking ship area is not cleared or lit during the winter months.
