The museum is open from June 1st, 2020

Starting June 1st, the museum is ready to welcome guests again. Vikings are waiting, eager to share the history, the archaeological exhibition halls are open, the farm animals will be grazing in the museum area. We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests again, to join us for a time travel more than 1000 years back in time. 

Activities: In addition to the entrance ticket: There will be various activities within the museum area (included in the entrance ticket). We will keep working on this and update our web.

Safety and preventing to spread the Covid-19-virus
The safety of our staff and guests are of the utmost importance to us. We are dedicated to follow the guidelines from the authorities. 

A limited number of guests are allowed in the various museum areas at the same time. All activities will be designed to fit the needs of limited group sizes, social distancing. There will be designated areas for lines for tickets, how to conduct in the museum gift shop, how serving of food will be conducted (no self-serving) in the museum cafe. Cleaning/disinfecting procedures are strict.
